Background: In 2018, my client initiated a digital transformation program to modernize facility operations across a large number of facilities under operation. A CAFM system was identified as a core platform to centralize asset data, maintenance workflows, space management, and reporting.
Challenge: The implementation required aligning diverse stakeholders—facility teams, IT, external vendors, regulators, and end users—around a single digital operating model.
Outcome: I designed and proposed a structured CAFM implementation strategy, defining governance, roles, and clear resource priorities. I developed a phased two-year implementation roadmap. As a result, the organization established a digital foundation for facilities management, improved maintenance activities, and set the stage for long-term operational efficiency.
